Athlete Kelvin Kiptum who died in a road accident will be laid to rest on February 24th at his parent’s home Elgeyo Marakwet County.
A family meeting at the home resolved that the World Marathon record holder would be buried
A postmortem on the body of the athlete will be done this week at the Eldoret Hospital morgue.
Chairman of funeral committee Michael Kiplagat confirmed that they had agreed on the burial date.
He will be buried at Chepsamo village and there will be a fundraising on Saturday in aid of the burial expenses
