A woman who attacked another woman with a bottle of beer causing her serious injuries on her face has been charged in court.
Sarafina Muthoni Njeri was charged before Kibera Senior Principal Magistrate Samson Temu on Monday with the offence.
The complainant PQ was relaxing at a pub waiting for her friend who were attending to other pressing issues when she was alledgly attacked.
The attack left the complainant bleeding profusely and was aided by her friends who rushed her to Nairobi South Hospital where she was attended too and was issued with a P3 form.
The chargesheet read in court says that the accused person committed the offence on March 3 in South c in Langata Sub-County within Nairobi County.
She however pleaded not guilty before the court and pleaded for a lenient bond terms.
The Court released her on Sh 50,000 bond with an alternative cash bail of Sh 20,000.
The magistrate directed that the accused person avail herself in court later this month for a pre-trial and further directions
