A popular pastor from AIC has been found guilty by a Kibera magistrate for been defiling own daughter occasionally between 2008 and 2014.
He was found guilty by senior principal magistrate Derrick Kuto after a case was proved against him by the prosecution.
Several witnesses proved against the pastor led by Court prosecutor Allan Mogere.
The accused committed the offense on diverse dates from 2008 through 2014 at a location within Kajiado County, according to the charge sheet.
Contrary to the sexual offenses act, He unlawfully defiled his biological daughter intentionally.
He was also charged with a second count of committing an indecent act with a minor contrary to the law.
Kuto, while reading the Judgement, said the accused’s defense was scripted, baseless, and held no ground.
“The law must do justice to the victims in this case, this defense has no basis and is well scripted the accused person is therefore convicted as charged,” said Kuto.
The accused person had told the court that he was a diploma graduate with biblical teachings and holds a master’s degree in a business course, in his mitigation.
In his defense He pleaded with the court to have mercy on him, he had told the court that the charges were fabricated.
The girl testified in court narrating how the accused person preyed on her.
“He took a Kitchen knife that my mother had bought and placed on my neck, he later defiled me and threatened to kill me if I dared to tell anyone including my mother,” she told the court.
The minor told the court that the accused person defiled her from the age of Eight years until she was 14 years
“When I reached class 7 we were taught about defilement and I decided to share with a friend the experience I had with my father on the same, my friend made it known to my teacher who later informed the principal and I was called to the office,” she told the court.
“The accused person was later called to the school and he came with a CRE textbook that he had bought her not knowing that the matter had been revealed to the teachers”. She told the court.
“I saw him at the school administrative block, he looked worried but I don’t know how he knew that I had revealed the matter,” she added.
“On one occasion the accused person threatened to kill my mother and my siblings”. She told the court
The accused person was arrested and arraigned in court until his convictions.
