Kenyanmiror, a local publications reports that On May 28, 2022 Lavender Sempele was badly attacked by four people including some women: Sophie Marami, Grace Karasha, Hezekiah Omondi and lenana Ali are accused of occasioning her serious body injuries leaving her bleeding profusely.
She was rushed to the hospital, treated and later reported the matter to the police which led to the arrests of the accused persons.
She is now the complainant in the case that has been filed at the Kibera Law courts where the said women are the accused persons.
According to the court papers, the accused persons attacked Lavender at ABC Mercury area in Muthangari withing Nairobi County.
When the matter came up for hearing before senior Principal Magistrate Phillip Mutua ,the court directed that the case proceeds to a full hearings on May 24th.
Our reporter who was in court on the fateful day attempted to talk to lavender for her comment on the matter but she was reluctant to respond .
