Four people have perished after a vehicle that was transporting was involved in an accident at Athiru Gaiti in Igembe South constituency.
The Land Rover was carrying about 40 Miraa pickers to pick Miraa.
According to Nyambene Level Five Hospital Superintendent Githu Wachira said they received 32 people.
“Four succumbed to there injuries eight have been transfered to Meru Level Five hospital with serious injuries,” Wachira said.
Wachira urged the government to build male wards in the hospital.
