Raila most preferred candidate as Ruto trails at 37 per cent – poll

Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga remains the most preferred candidate, in the latest polls by Infotrak.

In the poll, Raila leads at 43 per cent while Deputy President William Ruto is second with 37 per cent.

Roots party candidate George Wajackoyah comes in third place with 4 per cent.

The poll saw 9,000 respondents from across the 290 constituencies take part.

According to Infotrak, 16 per cent of respondents are still undecided on who to vote for.

The poll represents a one percentage point gain for Raila and a one percentage point loss for DP Ruto compared to June.

Raila leads in Coast, Northern, Lower Eastern, Nyanza, Western and Nairobi regions while Ruto leads in Mt Kenya, South Rift and North Rift regions.
